Five features shipped; the CX simulator needs a buyer story

Monthly product review: June releases, work in flight, and go-to-market readiness for the CX simulator.

TL;DR

Five features shipped in June. Before wider outreach, the CX simulator needs a named economic buyer and revenue-first messaging.

June shipped five features; four more land by end of July

Devika walked through the June releases. The simulator's ignore list lets client engineering exclude known-unsupported failure modes from the health score, so launch readiness reflects actual product scope. The context-brief upload now generates research objectives and ranking parameters automatically (previously a support-team task), and objective generation dropped from about 2 minutes to 30–40 seconds.

Private workspaces

Organization switching shipped for an enterprise insights team that needed a workspace hidden from sibling teams; users can now switch between organizations.

In development

Workflow-driven user journeys, higher upload limits (10 assets, 5 videos, 7 MB images), and the paused polls migration, all due end of July.

The CX simulator sells to engineering, not marketing

Gemma asked how the simulator is reaching clients and noted that its buyers differ from our usual profile. Vikram agreed: primary users are the engineering, product, and QA teams building the assistant, while economic buyers sit with the SVP Engineering, CIO, or CPO. Gemma will hold client outreach until there is a clear buyer-identification plan.

Vikram pressed for revenue-first messaging: conversion lift, guided selling, and ROI land harder than “better customer experience”, and our edge is testing against the client’s actual audience at scale. A classic free trial is unlikely given run costs. No pricing decision was made (see A5).

03Decisions

Four decisions, one left open on purpose

  1. D1Saanvi joins the monthly product-update thread; prior updates are shared for context.
  2. D2The product catalog is the first reference for positioning, use cases, and ICPs.
  3. D3The CX simulator is positioned on revenue impact (conversion, guided selling, ROI), not only assistant quality.
  4. D4Trial and pricing structure stay open; packaging options are worked before any client outreach.
